This appendix describes some of the optional settings for Pages in the Configuration Manager.
To view the Pages settings in the Configuration Manager:
Navigate to https://localhost:12345/cm/ui/cm.jsf (replacing localhost with the name of the computer that hosts the Pages application, and replacing 12345 with the port number you specified during installation).
Log in as Administrator with the password you specified during installation.
Click Pages.
The following optional settings are available for Pages:
Under Cache Settings:
Number of seconds that content is cached for RSS - The default is 3600 seconds (1 hour).
Under Experimental Features:
Experimental features are disabled by default.
Enable Experimental Record Set Descriptor Templates - Enable the experimental list templates for SOAP (Google search template) and REST (Yahoo search template) so that they appear in the list of templates when creating a new list.
Enable Experimental Component Definitions - Enable this feature to display the experimental components on the Add Components tab page. The experimental components are Markup, which allows you to add HTML (this functionality is largely superceded by the source view in the rich text components), and Map.
Enable Experimental Component Settings - This feature is disabled.
Under File Upload:
Maximum File Size, in MB - This value limits the size of attachments added to Pages. The default is 10 MB.
Pages Crawler section - These settings define the security used for the Pages content source.
Pages Proxy section - These settings are proxy settings for RSS feeds.
Personal Blog section - This setting enables or disables the personal blogs feature. Personal blogs are enabled by default.
