When you first bring up the Configuration Expert, the main window frame showing the Builder splash screen is displayed.

Before you can view a configuration or available resources, you must either create a new application configuration or open an existing one. To create a new configuration, choose File->New from the menu or click on the New toolbar button, and select the application you want to open.
To open an existing configuration, choose File->Open from the menu, or click on the Open toolbar button. The Configuration files have a .ce appended to the name. If you need detailed information on how to proceed through the dialogs to create or open a file, refer to the task Opening an Existing Configuration File or Creating a New One.
The main window displays the application configuration as it is constructed, along with the resources and controls needed to build it.
