BEA WebLogic Adapter for HIPAA 8.1.2 Documentation



The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), includes provisions for the standardization of transactions between health care providers and plans. The BEA WebLogic Adapter for HIPAA incorporates in-depth knowledge of the HIPAA ANSI X.12N 4010 transaction set to simplify the integration of HIPAA transactions with back-end transaction processing systems across heterogeneous platforms and databases.
