Check In a Content Item

When you check in a content item, it becomes available to other users and to WebLogic Portal personalization queries (JSP tags, content queries, etc). When you check in a content item, you can add comments that describe your changes as well as change the workflow status of the content item.

To check in a content item:

  1. In the Browse & Edit Content Resource tree, select the Content Workspace tab.
  2. From the My Checked Out Items folder, select the content item you wish to check in.
  3. Select the Create & Edit Content tab from right pane.
  4. Click Save and Check In. The Check In dialog box displays.
