Edit Content in a Library Services-Enabled Repository

When you modify content, you can change the values of the properties associated with that content, as well as choose to update the content file associated with an item. Remember that content includes both its definition (content type and it's properties) and its associated content file.

To edit the content properties of a content item:

1. In the Browse & Edit Content Resource tree, select the content item you want to edit.
2. In the View Content tab, click Check Out.
3. In the Create & Edit content tab, edit the appropriate field as dictated by chosen type.
4. Click one of the following:
   • Save: Saves the file without checking in your changes.
   • Save and Check In: Checks in a new version of the file and makes your changes available to other users.
