Known Issues

The JDK on the 2.4 kernel requires the 20020415 version of glibc and two updates to the kernel:

20020521 version of the k_deflt patch
20020521 version of the k_timer patch

To download IBM SDK 1.3.1:

After registration and acceptance of the license, the IBM Developer Kit for Linux, Java 2 Technology Edition for 31-bit zSeries (S/390) download page will be presented.

Customers running Red Hat Linux 7.2 for zSeries should use kernel level 2.4.9-38 and install the additional OCO module fixes. The kernel rpms can be found at the Red Hat FTP site:

And then download the kernel rpm:
kernel-2.4.9-38.s390.rpm
