Overview

The Connector Component > Deploy tab displays the Target, Target Type, and Deployment Status of the selected Connector module, as well as the status of the last deployment action performed on the module. You can use the Connector Component > Deploy tab to stop, redeploy, or deploy Connector modules.

For Connector modules that are targeted to a single server, possible Deployment Status values are:

Connectors that are targeted to a WebLogic Server cluster can potentially display a Deployment Status of Partially Available, which means the module is deployed only to a subset of servers in the targeted cluster. For more information about the deployment status of a module targeted to a virtual host, select the module's Deployment Status from the table. The Administration Console displays a new page with the Availability Status of the module on each individual server instance. Potential Availability Status values are:

Click the corresponding button next to the Connector module name to Stop, Redeploy, or Deploy the module.

To configure additional deployment targets for this Connector, click the Targets tab.

Deployment of a resource adapter is similar to deployment of Web Applications, EJBs, and Enterprise Applications. As with these deployment units, you can deploy a resource adapter in an exploded directory format or as an archive file.

Note that WebLogic Server will deploy all components it finds in and below the specified directory.
