Synchronization Process

Figure 39 shows the synchronization process.

The synchronization process includes the following steps:

1. You make offline changes to the database on your laptop.
2. You dial in and synchronize data.

   You initiate the synchronization process by choosing File, then Synchronize Database from the application-level menu.

3. The server accepts all the changes to the server database and any new or changed data from your laptop.
4. You see all the changes to your laptop database and any new or changed data from the server.
