Web Treatments


Web treatments are targeted HTML treatments that can be displayed on the Siebel Web Marketing microsite. Web treatments are available in Siebel Marketing and Siebel Web Marketing.

Using the Web Treatments view tabs, you can specify a template containing content for the Web treatment, edit the template and add personalization elements, identify links to related Web offers, surveys, related events and trackable URLs and attach relevant product information that can be downloaded by the Web site visitor. Table 13 shows the view tabs available in the Web Treatments view.

Treatment Details

This form contains additional fields that you can use if the Web treatment requires approvals from your company's marketing and legal departments. It also provides a unique identifier for the treatment in the Treatment Code field.

NOTE:  If you select the Inbound Active Flag check box, then the Web treatment appears to eligible users in the Web Marketing home page. The Featured Treatments applet checks this flag before displaying a Web offer to an eligible contact or prospect.

Edit Web Treatment

Use this form to attach templates containing the content of the Web treatment. To be selected here, templates must first be added to the Treatment Templates list. For more information, see About Creating and Editing Treatment Templates.

  • Use the HTML editor to edit the template content as well as select personalization items and insert items into the template.
  • Click the Verify & Preview button to verify the template edits and display the finished Web treatment as it appears on the Web page.

Downloads

Use this list to provide a list of literature related to the offer that is available for download by the Web site visitor.

Advanced

Contains the Related Web Surveys, Related Events, and Trackable URLs link bars. Use these lists to specify Web surveys, related events, and trackable URLs that you can embed in your Web treatment, using the Edit Web Treatment personalization elements controls. Follow up Activity

Allows marketers to schedule a follow-up activity when the treatment is delivered.

Real-Time Details

This view is used only if Siebel Marketing is integrated with the Oracle Real-Time Decisions (RTD) product.
