SWI Asset Status Update Workflow

This workflow updates the status of the assets.

This workflow is called from a batch job that inactivates expired assets, which must be created as the part of the post-installation steps for the Time Based Offering functionality. When a user schedules the batch job, this workflow is called to inactivate the expired assets.

Figure 109 illustrates the SWI Asset Status Update workflow.

Workflow Description. This workflow performs the following action:

• Asset Status Update. Updates the status of assets to Inactive for those assets for which the Service End Date is earlier than the current date and the Status is equal to Active.
