Administering Communications Outbound Manager

This topic describes how to administer the Communications Outbound Manager server component. The alias for this component is CommOutboundMgr.

Communications Outbound Manager processes outbound communications for email, fax, wireless message, or page channels. It supports outbound capabilities for Siebel Email Response and for the Send Email, Send Fax, and Send Wireless Message commands. It also supports communication requests, whether users directly create and submit them, or Siebel Workflow creates and submits them. For more information, see Defining Outbound Communication Requests.

For this server component, you can configure a parameter that specifies how Siebel bookmarks are generated, and you can configure a logging parameter. Otherwise, this component uses generic parameters and you do not need to configure it.
