They can add or modify contact preferences, contact addresses, financial account nicknames, and login passwords. Default contact preferences include phone numbers, email address, best time to call, and preferred language. For information about administering login usernames and passwords, see the information about user access in this guide. For information about automating data import tasks, see Siebel Enterprise Integration Manager Administration Guide. Table 15 shows a mapping between the views and applets in the customer application to the related views in Siebel Finance (the employee application). The view names listed are the display names that the end user sees; they are not the view names in Siebel Tools.
On the My Profile page, note the following functionality:
NOTE: You can provide account nicknames for customers by initializing the Alias field with the Product name when an account is created. A new account then always displays a name in the Account Nickname field. You can automate this task using Siebel Business Process Designer or Siebel Enterprise Integration Manager. |
