2. Upgrading an Installation of Application Server or GlassFish Server
GlassFish Server 3.1 does not support node agents. When updating from installations of earlier product versions in which node agents were configured, the cluster definitions will be migrated, but the clustered instances themselves must be manually re-created. See Upgrading Clusters and Node Agent Configurations for more information.
