If the Sun Management Center Alarms cannot transfer to Tivoli, verify the following information:
The TEC Adapter and the SyMONInt application are running correctly.
The TEC server has been restarted after the installation.
Events are successfully reaching the console. Use the Tivoli wtdumpr1 and wtdumper commands to determine if events are successfully reaching the console. Depending upon how the time parameters for receiving events are set, it is possible for old, closed events to reach Tivoli. However, these events might be discarded because they are closed and older than the Tivoli server is set to accept.
