N1 Provisioning Server ソフトウェアのアンインストール

次のような状況では、N1 Provisioning Server ソフトウェアをアンインストールする必要があります。

使用中のサーバーファームが含まれる I-Fabric でソフトウェアをアンインストールできます。 ただし、保留状態のファーム変更要求がある場合、アンインストール処理を行うかどうかの確認が求められます。

ファーム変更要求には、次のアクションが含まれます。

注意 – 注意 –

処理を行った場合、ファーム変更要求はすべて終了され、アクティブファームに関するすべての情報など、関連データがすべて失われます。

Procedureインストールまたはアップグレード完了前に N1 Provisioning Server をアンインストールする

始める前に

N1 Provisioning Server のアンインストール中に、新しいファーム変更要求がサブミットされるのを防止するには、N1 Provisioning Server のすべてのユーザーがログオフしていることを確認してから、N1 Provisioning Server ソフトウェアのアンインストールを開始してください。

手順

  1. コントロールプレーンサーバーに root (su - root) でログインします。

    • N1 Provisioning Server, Blades Edition version 3.0 をアンインストールする場合は、N1 Provisioning Server 3.0 Update 1 CD-ROM 1/2 を DVD/CD-ROM ドライブに挿入してください。

    • N1 Provisioning Server, Blades Edition version 3.1 をアンインストールする場合は、N1 Provisioning Server 3.1 DVD-ROM を DVD/CD-ROM ドライブに挿入してください。

  2. /cdrom/cdrom/uninstall_PS と入力して、アンインストールプロセスを開始します。

    次のメッセージが表示されます。 


    Do you want to uninstall the N1 software [y/n]?

  3. y と入力して、N1 Provisioning ソフトウェアをアンインストールします。

    次のメッセージが表示されます。 


    Beginning uninstall process...
Checking for pending requests in progress ...done!

Stopping all Provisioning Server services ...done!

    • インストールプロセスおよびアップグレードプロセスが終了されたときに、そのプロセスが途中だった場合、次のメッセージが表示されることがあります。 


      Do you want to revert blades to factory settings [y/n]?

      工場出荷時の設定に戻す場合は y と入力し、現在の設定を保持する場合は n と入力します。

      • y と入力してサーバーブレードを工場出荷時の設定に戻す場合は、メッセージ Unconfiguring hardware...done! が表示されます。

      • n と入力した場合、サーバーブレードは工場出荷時の設定の戻されず、メッセージも表示されません。

      次のメッセージが表示されます。 


      Stopping database...done!

Removing N1 PS software packages...done!
      

Restoring system state...done!

Please check the following files to restore any changes made by N1 PS
software:

/etc/nsswitch.conf
/etc/resolv.conf
/etc/defaultdomain
/etc/system
/etc/dfs/dfstab
/etc/inetd.conf

Unconfiguring Network Interface cards....done!
Deleting FTP account...done!


Deleting additional files/directories used by PS/IS software...
Do you want to delete the images directory - '/images' [y/n]?

      手順 5 へ進みます。

    • インストールプロセスおよびアップグレードプロセスが終了されたときに、そのプロセスが完了間際だった場合、次のメッセージが表示されることがあります。 


      You may retrieve the pre-PS-install version of the following files 
from /var/tmp/SystemState_before_PS_install.tar If the archive does 
not contain some file, it implies that the file was created during 
PS software installation.

  4. y と入力して、Solaris オペレーティングシステムイメージとディスクスナップショットが含まれている /images ディレクトリを削除します。 そのディレクトリを保持する場合は、n と入力します。

    次のメッセージが表示されます。 


    The following files/directories will be deleted.
/etc/opt/terraspring
/etc/opt/ipf
/etc/named.conf
/opt/terraspring
/var/opt/terraspring
/tftpboot/terraspring
/etc/rc3.d/S60tsprdb

    • インフラストラクチャデータベースが Oracle の場合、次のメッセージが表示されます。 


      /oracle_data1
/oracle_data2
/oracle_data3

    • インフラストラクチャデータベースが Postgres の場合、次のメッセージが表示されます。 


      /postgres_data
/postgres_log

    ファイルの削除の確認が求められます。 


    Is it okay to delete[y/n]? y

  5. 一覧表示されたディレクトリを削除する場合は、y と入力し、保持する場合は、n と入力します。

    n と入力した場合、次のメッセージが表示されます。 


    WARNING:You may have to manually delete the PS/IS
related directories/files before reinstalling the software.

    アンインストールし完了したあと、次のメッセージが表示されます。 


    done!


PS/IS logs are backed up in /var/tmp/N1PS_backup directory.

Procedureインストールまたはアップグレード完了後に N1 Provisioning Server をアンインストールする

手順

  1. コントロールプレーンサーバーに root (su — root) でログインします。

  2. /opt/terraspring/sbin/uninstall_PS と入力します。

    次のメッセージが表示されます。 


    Do you want to uninstall the N1 software [y/n]?

  3. y と入力して、Provisioning Server ソフトウェアをアンインストールします。

    次のメッセージが表示されます。 


    Beginning uninstall process...
Checking for pending requests in progress ...done!

Stopping all Provisioning Server services ...done!

Do you want to revert blades to factory settings [y/n]?

  4. 工場出荷時の設定に戻す場合は y と入力し、現在の設定を保持する場合は n と入力します。

    • y と入力してサーバーブレードを工場出荷時の設定に戻す場合は、メッセージ Unconfiguring hardware...done! が表示されます。

    • n と入力した場合、サーバーブレードは工場出荷時の設定の戻されず、メッセージも表示されません。

    次のメッセージが表示されます。 


    Stopping database...done!

  5. インタフェースデバイスが構成されている場合、これらのインタフェースデバイスの取り外しの許可が求められます。 以下に例を示します。 


    Is it okay to unplumb interface skge1000 [y/n]

  6. PS/IS の組み合わせのサーバーをアンインストールする場合で、イメージサーバープロトコルとして ftp が選択されていた場合、次のメッセージが表示されます。 


    Deleting FTP account...done!

    その後、次のメッセージが表示されます。 


    Deleting additional files/directories used by PS/IS software...
Do you want to delete the images directory - '/images' [y/n]?

  7. y と入力して、Solaris オペレーティングシステムイメージとディスクスナップショットが含まれている /images ディレクトリを削除します。 そのディレクトリを保持する場合は、n と入力します。

  8. 一覧表示されたディレクトリを削除する場合は、y と入力し、保持する場合は、n と入力します。

    一覧表示されたディレクトリを保持するために n と入力した場合、次のメッセージが表示されます。 


    WARNING:You may have to manually delete the PS/IS
related directories/files before reinstalling the software.

    アンインストールし完了したあと、次のメッセージが表示されます。 


    PS/IS logs are backed up in /var/tmp/N1PS_backup directory.

Please delete the following empty directory - /opt/terraspring
