Configure a Static Router Port
You can configure multicast router ports for a VLAN statically, or the port can be learned dynamically. Whenever a port receives a query message, then that port is also added to the multicast router port list. This section contains procedures that explain how to enable or disable multicast router ports. Before you can configure IGS features, you must configure your network environment, as described in Topology Example.
