SLB-L2 monitors the link interface between the server and the switch. When the link fails, a failover event takes place. SLB-L2 provides several failover options. Refer to the slb l2 failover-method command in the Sun Ethernet Fabric Operating System CLI Base Reference Manual for more information.
The following example illustrates a failover event. The LBG in this example has four active nodes.
