Generating Reports
Command: Maintenance > Report
Using the Library Administrator you can obtain a report on the library, its drives, the tape inventory, and the Fault Symptom Codes in the event log. You can also save the report to your hard drive. The print option allows you to print the report on your local printer.
Select from the following Report options and click Generate Reports:

Library |
The library such as the library name, SCSI type, number of CAP cells, location, status, firmware version, network configuration including SNMP agents and recipients. You also get a detailed library statistics. |
Drive |
The drives installed in the library including their current state. You also get a detailed drive statistics such as the get and put retries, mount count, idle seconds, and the number if times the drive was in-use in a given period of time. |
FSCs |
Fault symptom codes with their descriptions/ occurrences from the library's event log |
Tape Inventory |
The cartridges in the storage cells, the CAP, and the drives |

Note: If you do not select any of the report options, you will get a detailed report on library statistics. See the General Library Statistics.
Type the name of the report and click Save.
Note: This is the filename you entered in the Targetname field during the Java policy tool configuration. This filename is case sensitive.
