Before using the Sun Dual 10GbE PCIe 2.0 Fabric Expansion Module, ensure that your system meets the hardware and software requirements in the following table.

Platforms supported include:
  • Sun Blade X6270 server

  • Sun Blade T6320 server

  • Sun Blade T6340 server

Hardware, Sun Network Express Module
The following Network Express Module (NEM) is required to be installed in the Sun server system chassis:
  • Sun Blade 6000 Ethernet Switched NEM 24p 10GE

Operating systems

  • Solaris 10 5/09 OS and Solaris 10 10/09 OS

  • OpenSolaris 2009.06 OS
