Preface
Sun Open Net Environment (Sun ONE) Integration Server, Secure Trading Agent implements a system that provides for the exchange of business documents between trading partners, according to an agreement between the trading partners. This book, the Sun ONE Integration Server, Secure Trading Agent, 1.0 Installation Guide, provides information to both Secure Trading Agent regular users and Secure Trading Agent administrators on how to use Secure Trading Agent to engage in electronic business transactions.

Audience for This Guide
This guide describes how to install Secure Trading Agent and includes information on system requirements for installation, components of a Secure Trading Agent system, how to uninstall Secure Trading Agent, and how to use the Secure Trading Agent registration procedure to verify that your installation is set up correctly.
You must have root access (Solaris platforms) or administrator privileges (Solaris platforms) to install Secure Trading Agent.
Organization of This Guide
This guide is not designed to be read from beginning to end, but instead contains a single chapter with some sections that apply to all users and other sections containing platform-specific instructions. Table 1 briefly describes the contents of key sections in this manual.
