power.conf ファイル

/etc/power.conf ファイルを使用して、システムの電源管理の設定を行うことができます。また、CDE または OpenWindows が用意されていない場合に、このファイルを使用して、ディスプレイの電源管理の設定を行うことができます (これらのウィンドウ環境でディスプレイの電源を管理する方法ついては 第 2 章「ディスプレイの電源管理」「ディスプレイの電源管理」を参照してください)。

sun4u ワークステーションの、デフォルトの /etc/power.conf ファイルの内容は以下のとおりです。

論理的に従属する装置

/etc/power.conf ファイルには、論理的に従属する装置 (Logical Dependent) のエントリがあります。マウスなどの物理装置の動作が、物理的に接続されていない別の装置 (フレームバッファーなど) に関連している場合に、それらの装置を「論理的に従属する装置」と言います。

論理的に従属する装置が活動状態である場合は、対応する主装置も活動状態とみなされます。このため、主装置のアイドル時間に影響します。
