Deployment Example: Installing HA for TimesTen in a Failover Configuration

This appendix presents a complete example of how to install and configure the TimesTen application and data service in a failover configuration. It presents a simple two-node cluster configuration with a non-global zone on each node. If you need to install the TimesTen application in the global zone, perform all steps only in the global zone.

If you need to install the application in any other configuration, refer to the general-purpose procedures presented elsewhere in this manual. For an example of an HA for TimesTen installation in a scalable subscriber configuration, see Deployment Example: Installing HA for TimesTen in a Scalable Subscriber Configuration. For an active-active configuration, see Deployment Example: Installing HA for TimesTen in an Active-Active Configuration.
