How to Power On the Server

  1. Verify that the server’s power supply is connected to an AC power source and that the server is in Power Modes.

In standby power mode, the Power/OK LED on the front panel blinks, indicating that the service processor is working and the system is ready to be fully powered on to full-power mode (seePower Modes).

  2. Press and release the recessed power button on the server front panel.

Note - If necessary, use a stylus or other nonconducting pointed object to depress the power on button.

The server performs power-on self tests (POST) and boots to the OS.
