This manual provides instructions for installing the 25 Megabyte/second Fibre Channel (FC25/S) Sbus card.
This manual is intended for qualified, service-trained maintenance providers.
You will need the service manual for your specific system. The Fibre Channel SBus Card Installation Manual contains only information about installing the FC25/S card. It does not have specific software commands for halting or booting your system, nor does it have instructions for opening a workstation cabinet or server cabinet.
This manual is divided into two chapters:
Chapter 1, "Preparation," lists tools and equipment.
Chapter 2, "Installation Procedures," provides general instructions for installing the basic interface.
To perform some of the installation procedures, you will need the reference and service manuals for your specific system.
