付録 B uninstall プログラムの実行
この付録では、既存の Messaging Server インスタンスをマシンから削除する方法を説明します。
注
uninstall プログラムは、ログファイル、サイレントインストールファイル、メールボックスの削除は一切行いません。これらの削除は、手動で行う必要があります。
uninstall プログラムは、高可用性 (High Availability) コンポーネントを一切削除しません。High Availability コンポーネントの削除方法は、「High Availability のアンインストール」を参照してください。
uninstall プログラムは、Messaging Server ファイルのインストール先ディレクトリにあります。uninstall を実行するには、次の手順を実行します。
root としてログインします。
server-root ディレクトリに移動します。
注
Directory Server は、手動では停止しないでください。uninstall プログラムは、Directory Server が稼働していることを想定しています。Directory Server の停止処理は、uninstall プログラムが行います。
削除するコンポーネントを選択します。

Select the components you wish to uninstall (default:all) [All]:

削除する iPlanet Messaging 製品群コンポーネントを選択します。Messaging Server のサブコンポーネント (メッセージストアおよび MTA) を MMP と同時にインストールした場合は、アンインストール時に問題が発生するので注意してください。この対応策としては、stop-msg を実行してから uninstall プログラムを実行します。

Specify the components you wish to uninstall [1, 2, 5]:
High Availability コンポーネントをインストールした場合、削除は手動で実行する必要があります (「Veritas Cluster Server および Sun Cluster 2.2 のアンインストール」 を参照)。High Availability コンポーネントの自動アンインストールは、オプションとしては表示されますが、現時点ではサポートされていません。このオプションは選択しないでください。
構成管理者のログイン ID とパスワードを入力します。

この時点で、uninstall プログラムは、指定されたさまざまなコンポーネントをシステムから削除し始めます。
これで、アンインストールは完了です。
ただし場合によっては、uninstall が、すべてまたは一部のインストールファイルを削除できないことがあります。その場合は、残ったファイルを確認して、手動で削除してください。同じインスタンスを再インストールする場合は、/etc ディレクトリの msgregistry.inf ファイルに、以前の Messaging Server インスタンスが含まれていないことを確認してください。msgregistry.inf ファイルに以前のサーバ情報が含まれている場合は、別のサーバインスタンスをインストールする前に、その情報をファイルから削除してください。
注
uninstall スクリプトは、アンインストール前に設定されていた sendmail リンクを復元しません。sendmail を使ってサーバでメールを受信する場合は、このリンクを手動でリストアする必要があります。
