The iPlanet Portal Server: Mobile Access Pack Installation Guide provides overview information and instructions for installing the iPlanet Portal Server: Mobile Access Pack 3.0 software, which enables your portal site users to access your portal's content from their mobile devices.
Who Should Use This Book
System administrators who are installing the Mobile Access Pack software should already be familiar with iPlanet Portal Server 3.0, Service Pack 3a.If you plan to use the iPlanet Messaging Server to offer mail and address book to your mobile device user and the iPlanet Calendar Server to offer calendar to your mobile device users, you should already be familiar with:
Familiarity with basic UNIX system administration and networking is assumed.
