The audience for this guide is the user who needs to import seller catalogs into an iPlanet Market Maker marketplace.

To import catalogs successfully, you must be familiar with the information in Chapter 2 "Catalog Concepts", Chapter 3 "Representing Catalog Information", and the extensible markup language (XML). This information is especially important to know before importing a catalog for the first time.
