Before You Begin
Before you configure your server to install SLES from a Preboot Execution Environment (PXE) server, you need to do the following:
Configure your network to support a PXE server.
Install a SLES image on that PXE server.
For a list of required drivers, see Obtaining Drivers.
The PXE client is the target Sun Blade X6275 M2 server module to which you are installing the RHEL OS.
The PXE client connects to the PXE server and attempts to obtain an IP address from the DHCP server.
The install image is downloaded onto the target Sun Blade X6275 M2 server module.
For information about how to configure SLES, refer to the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 10 Installation and Administration Guide or to the SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 Installation and Administration Guide on the SLES distribution media.
