System Administration Guide: Network Interfaces and Network Virtualization

This book is for anyone responsible for administering network interfaces and network virtualization for systems that run the Oracle Solaris operating system. The broad topic of network interface administration includes administering single network interfaces, VLANs, IPMP groups, link aggregations, and wireless interface communication. The network virtualization topic includes configuring interfaces for network consolidation, bandwidth management, differentiated services, and network observability. The network virtualization topics are appropriate for advanced system administrators and system consolidators.
