The New Field Dialog

Use the New Field dialog to create a field resource.

This dialog contains:

• the Name of the field – you cannot use the following characters: = \ ; |
  • if you enter an invalid character, a yellow triangle is displayed next to the name; hover your cursor over the triangle to view a message that indicates the invalid character
• the field Type – select a field type from the drop-down
• Additional Attributes based on the field type
