Working with Documaker documents in the Add-In involves using Documaker resources and elements. Therefore, before you start creating and working with Documaker documents, you need to understand resources and elements, how they are related, and their various types.
Elements are different from resources.
Resources are the entire collection of available Documaker objects that you can use in any Documaker document. They include: fields, triggers, graphics, recipients, projects, classes, and metadata.
Elements include Documaker fields, triggers, and graphics in a Documaker document and are based on the corresponding resources. For example, when you insert a trigger element into a Documaker document, it is based on an existing trigger resource.
Elements also include sections and paragraphs.
