Creating Offers

You cannot associate an offer with a program until it has been accepted. When an offer is accepted, the offer header information, including the offer type, cannot be changed. For more information on offer fields, see About Offer Fields.

To create an offer

  1. Do one of the following:

    • Click Assets, Offers, and then New Offer.

    • From the Quick Access menu, select Create Offer.

    The New Offer screen appears.

  2. Complete all the required fields.

  3. Do one of the following:

    • Enter a URL to indicate where the offer can be found online or provide a thumbnail or larger picture of the offer.

    • Upload a file to make the offer accessible within Oracle CRM On Demand Marketing.

  4. Enter a brief description of the offer in the Short Description field.

    You use the description in outbound email invitations for the new offer, on Web forms, or Web pages promoting the offer.

  5. Enter a more comprehensive description in the Long Description field.

    It must describe the offer content and entice contacts to register and download the promotional content.

  6. Click Save, and then click Accept.
