Setting the Default Sender E-mail Address

To set the default e-mail address that is used in the “From” field on e-mails sent to customers:

  1. Open the /atg/dynamo/service/SMTPEmail component.

  2. Set the defaultFrom property to the e-mail address you wish to use.

    Note: Setting the “From” e-mail address on the SMTPEmail component causes all ATG-generated e-mail messages to use that address, not just e-mails from Knowledge Manager.
