The first step to configuring a development environment is selecting the ATG products and add-ons you want to install. If your configuration does not include Internationalization, skip the steps marked (International Only).
To configure ATG products:
In the CIM MAIN MENU, select [R] Set the Administrator Password.
In the RESET ADMINISTRATOR PASSWORD STEP, enter the administrator password you will use to log into the Business Control Center and ATG Dynamo Administration, for example,
Admin123.Re-enter the password to confirm it.
In the CIM MAIN MENU, select [P] Product Selection.
In the PRODUCT SELECTION menu, select [7] Oracle ATG Commerce Reference Store: Includes the ATG platform, ATG-Endeca Integration, ATG Content Administration, Site Administration, Oracle ATG Web Commerce, and Oracle ATG Web Commerce Merchandising. Optional: data warehouse components and Preview.
Select D to indicate you are done and ready to move to the next menu.
In the CHOOSE ADDONS menu, select D to indicate you are done and ready to move to the next menu.
In the INCLUDE DEMO APPLICATION menu, select D to indicate you are done and ready to move to the next menu.
In the CHOOSE SWITCHING OR NON-SWITCHING DATASOURCE menu, select [2] Switching Datasource.
In the ENDECA INDEX TYPE SELECTION menu, select [1] Index by SKU.
In the ENDECA PREVIEW OPTIONS SELECTION FOR PRODUCTION, select [1] Configure Endeca Preview to run on the Production Server.
IMPORTANT: Use this option in development or evaluation environments only. Do not use it for an actual production system.
Select [D] Done to indicate you are done and ready to move to the next menu.
In the CHOOSE ATG COMMERCE REFERENCE STORE ADDONS menu, select the following:
[1] Storefront Demo Application
[3] Fulfillment
[4] Oracle Recommendations On Demand Integration
[5] RightNow KnowledgeBase
[6] ClickToCall Integration
To select multiple options, type them as a space-delimited list (1 3 4 5 6), then press Enter.
(International Only) If you want internationalization functionality, select [2] International: Enables multi-country and multi-language functionality.
Select [D] Done to indicate you are done and ready to move to the next menu.
In the CHOOSE STOREFRONT ADDONS menu, select [2] Inspect Application.
Select [D] Done to indicate you are done and ready to move to the next menu.
In the CHOOSE STOREFRONT SAMPLE DATA CONFIGURATION menu, select [1] Full: Populated product catalog, users, orders, promotions, etc.
In the CHOOSE ORACLE RECOMMENDATIONS ON DEMAND ACCOUNT menu, select [1] Use Recommendations demonstration account.
In the CHOOSE CLICKTOCALL ACCOUNT menu, select [1] Use Click To Call demonstration account.
