This architecture runs all of your search components within a single Oracle ATG Web Commerce instance. This is sufficient for basic evaluation purposes and for estimating the size of your final architecture, but should never be used for production.

A Self-Contained Search Installation

You may want to use this setup to estimate the size of your index using Search Administration, and then add resources to support that index. The original installation can then be used solely for Search Administration.
