Creating Hyperion Enterprise Import or Export Maps

  To create import or export maps:

1. Open a Strategic Finance file.

   • For export maps, open the source file.

   • For import maps, open an empty target file matching the dimension and time structure of the source in Hyperion Enterprise.

2. Perform an action:

   • To create import maps, select File, then Import, then From Database, then Create New Map.

   • To create export maps, select File, then Export, then Create New Map.

3. In Create New Map, select Hyperion Enterprise and click OK.

4. Select the server and database.

5. Assign common information:

   • For imports, see Assigning Hyperion Enterprise Import Common Information.

   • For exports, see Assigning Hyperion Enterprise Export Common Information.

6. Assign accounts:

   • For imports, see Assigning Hyperion Enterprise Import Accounts.

   • For exports, see Assigning Hyperion Enterprise Export Accounts.

7. Assign time periods:

   • For imports, see Assigning Hyperion Enterprise Import Time Periods.

   • For exports, see Assigning Hyperion Enterprise Export Time Periods.

8. Click OK.
