To stop a scenario that is currently active, do the following:
In the Scenario task window, right-click the name of the scenario you want to disable.
Select Disable Scenario from the pop-up menu.
(Alternatively, you can open the scenario for editing, and then select File > Disable Scenario.)
The system displays the following message: “Disable scenario and discard data for current participants?” Note that this message does not necessarily indicate that any visitors are currently progressing through the scenario. It simply reminds you that the system will subsequently lose scenario state information for any visitors who are. For more information, see Changing an Enabled Scenario.
If you click Yes, the system removes the red dot from the display to show that you have marked the scenario as disabled.
Copy the appropriate scenario file to the production server for your live site.
Update the scenario server with the new information.
Important: The scenario is not disabled until you complete steps 4 and 5. For more information, see Copying and Switching Databases in the ATG Installation and Configuration Guide.
