Options for configuring an application

Application administrators can use the Application Configuration page on the Application Settings page to configure the application.

From the Application Configuration page, application administrators can:

Rename the application
Provide a description for the application
Change the application type. See Configuring the application type.
Select a different application data source. See Selecting a different data source for an application.

The page also contains a function to manage the application membership. See Adding and removing application members from the Application Configuration page.

Studio Administrators also have access to the Applications page on the Control Panel. The Applications page provides access for administrators to manage all of the applications.

The Applications page includes an Edit option to display an application configuration page as well as separate administrator functions for managing each application's membership. See Control Panel options for managing application membership.

From the Control Panel version of the application configuration page, Studio administrators can also:

Make the application active or inactive. See Making an application active or inactive.
Certify or decertify the application. See Certifying an application.
