Oracle Solaris Cluster 3.3 3/13 software requires the following memory requirements for every cluster node:
Minimum of 1 Gbyte of physical RAM (2 Gbytes typical)
Minimum of 6 Gbytes of available hard drive space
Actual physical memory and hard drive requirements are determined by the applications that are installed. Consult the application's documentation or contact the application vendor to calculate additional memory and hard drive requirements.
Oracle Solaris Cluster 3.3 3/13 software and Quorum Server software requires one of the following versions of the Oracle Solaris OS as of the time of publication:
Oracle Solaris 10 – Solaris 10 8/11, Oracle Solaris 10 1/13
Note - Oracle Solaris Cluster 3.3 3/13 software does not support multiple versions of Oracle Solaris software in the same running cluster.
This Oracle Solaris Cluster release supports Oracle VM Server for SPARC 2.2 and 3.0 as of the time of publication.
This Oracle Solaris Cluster release supports Availability Suite 4.0 software as of the time of publication. Support requires a minimum of patch 123246-07 for SPARC or 123247-07 for x86.
The following volume managers are supported for Oracle Solaris 10 on the SPARC and x86 platforms as of the time of publication:

Solaris Volume Manager for Sun Cluster
Veritas Volume Manager (requires a minimum of Oracle Solaris 10 1/13 software)
