Modifying Rights System-Wide As SMF Properties

The following sections describe how to use the Service Management Facility (SMF) to manage the default rights that are assigned to all users who log in to a system. SMF enables you to manage the rights per system or in LDAP. While the default rights that Oracle Solaris installs are typically sufficient, you can modify the defaults to match your site security requirements.
