• To match the calendars in Outlook and CRM Desktop, it creates the list of exceptions for this activity.

The user changes a single occurrence for a repeating Calendar event that does not match any Siebel repeating pattern.

CRM Desktop does the following work in the Outlook Calendar:

• Creates a new calendar item that is nonrepeating.
• Deletes the occurrence that changed for the Outlook calendar item.
• Creates an exception in Outlook for the occurrence date that changed.

• Adds an exception to the exceptions dates list of the activity.
• Adds a new activity that does not repeat.
