Approving an answered query
After an investigator or clinical research coordinator answers a query, a sponsor user, typically the data manager or monitor, must approve it.
Approving an answered query from Query List page:
- Select Queries (
).The Query List page appears.
- Filter the queries as described in Filtering and sorting the Query List.
- Select an answered query.
The query information appears on the Query Detail page on the Answer tab.
- Click Approve.
- Click Submit.
The status changes to Approved and the OutcomeLogix application removes the query from the Query List page.
Note: You can also reissue the answered query as an open query.
Approving an answered query from a form:
- Open the form. For more information, see Entering and editing data on a form.
- Click an Answered query status icon (
). To see the query text, hover over the Answered query status icon.The Query Detail dialog box opens.
- Click Edit.
- In the Change Status field, select the Approve radio button.
- To add a note about the query, enter it in the Notes text box.
- Click Save.
The application displays a confirmation message in green type near the top of the page.
