Modifying your answer to a query
Users who have the right to answer queries can modify their answers without reissuing the query. The query must have the status Answered.
Modifying a query answer from the Query List page:
- Select Queries (
).The Query List page appears.
- Filter the queries as described in Filtering and sorting the Query List.
- Select a query with the status Answered.
The query information appears on the Query Detail page on the Answer tab.
- On the Query Detail page, click the Edit button.
- Change the query response as necessary. For more information, see Answering a query.
- Add a note describing the change.
- Click Submit.
The application records the change on the Query History page and in the Audit Trail.
Modifying a query answer from a form:
- Open the form. For more information, see Entering and editing data on a form.
- Click an Answered query status icon (
). To see the query text, hover over the Answered query status icon.The Query Detail dialog box opens.
- Click Edit.
- In the Change Data field, change the value.
- From the Site Response drop-down list, select the reason for the changed answer.
- If you select Other, type the reason in the Site Response Other Text box.
- To add a note about the query, enter it in the Notes text box.
- Click Save.
The application updates the Status field at the top of the form.
