How to Setup ORS and OXI_HUB for Products on Rate Code

Since packages linked to rate codes can change the actual amount that a guest will have to pay during their stay, we have available setup for these products linked by Transaction codes. For Rate messages coming from V6, certain Package Codes from External system must be linked to an existing ORS Transaction code for the packages to be linked on Rate Codes.  (Packages are also called Products here.)

This is V6 and V7 exclusive setup:

• The transaction codes that are required are setup in ORS Property Details. ORS>Setup>System Configuration>Property>Property Details>Select Property>Search>Edit>Configuration Tab>Default Trn. For Pkg. Rate Codes and Default Trn. For Rate Codes.
• The OXI_HUB Conversion Codes table Transaction Code must be activated. In OXI_HUB go to Interface Configuration>Conversion Codes>Scroll to find Transaction Code table. If the table is not visible select the Show Inactive box and highlight the table, then select the ACTIVATE button on the bottom left of the screen.
• Packages can be multiple values and this conversion table has the option of multiple entries delimited by a comma (,).
• The Inclusive column in the Transaction Code conversion must be set to be Y for Inclusive or N for not inclusive product. This will manipulate the amount of the rate to either include/exclude the extra amount of the package when accessing the rate for reservations.
