Location Types

You must grant your user the PROFILE CONFIG > CONFIGURE LOCATION TYPE permission to configure location codes.

Navigate to Setup > System Configuration > Profile > Location Types to configure the Location Types that appear in the Location LOV on the E-Certificate Consumption screen (Miscellaneous > E-Certificate). For Location Codes to appear in the Location LOV, you must first create them here.

When the Profiles > Parameter > OCIS E-Certificates application parameter must be set to Y, location types are configured at the global level and are not property specific.

To create a new location type

Go to Setup > System Configuration > Profile > Location Types.
Select New.
Enter a code, such as SPA or F&B.
Enter a brief description.
Enter a number for the display order. This is the order in which the code appears in lists and on the display grid.
Select OK.
