Profile Regions

In ORS/OCIS, select Setup > System Configuration > Profile > Memberships > Profile Regions to display the Membership Regions screen and configure geographic regions that can be associated to a membership.

From the Profile Regions screen, you can configure codes for various regions. Under Details, you can associate a country and states to the region.

User Scenario

An OPERA user needs to create a region code for members living in the Southeastern region of the Untied States. To accomplish this task, the user will perform the below steps.

1. In ORS/OCIS, navigate to Setup > System Configuration > Profile > Memberships > Profile Regions.
2. On the Membership Regions screen, select New.
3. Complete the following fields:

   Region Code: Enter a code for the Southeastern region. For example, you could enter SEUSA.

   Region Description: Enter a brief statement to describe the region.

   Sequence: Enter a number for the order in which the region code will display on the Membership Regions grid. For example, enter 1 if you wish to have it displayed first.

4. Select OK.
5. Select Details.
6. Select New.
7. Select the Country LOV and choose US.
8. Select the State LOV and select all the states located in the Southeast.
9. Select OK.
