8300 Reporting Document Type Configuration

When the Cashiering>8300 Reporting application parameter is set to Y, go to Configuration>Setup>Form 8300 Reporting>Document Types to configure the types of documents that can be used for verification of the individual's identification.  A couple of examples of what would be configured would be driver's licenses or a passport.

Code. Code for the document type.

Description. Description better explains what the Document Type Code stands for.

Sequence. The order of succession for items to appear in a list by assigning them a numeric order.

Buttons

New. Create a new document type.

Edit. Edit an existing document type.

Delete. Delete the highlighted document type. You will be prompted to make sure that you really want to delete the code.

Close. Exits out of the document type configuration.
