Insurance Types
When the OPV_<version number> OPERA Vacation Ownership System license code is active, select Configuration>Ownership>Codes>Insurance Types to define the types of insurance(s) that are associated with the unit.
The Insurance Types screen displays the following information.
Template. Available when the OPP_MHOT Multi-property add-on license code is active, select this radio button to see all of the insurance templates that exist.
Property. Available when the OPP_MHOT Multi-property add-on license code is active, select the radio button to setup or see what all insurance types are setup for the property.
Show Inactive. Displays all of the Insurance types that have been set as inactive.
Code. Insurance type code.
Description. Description of the insurance type code.
Seq. The order in which the type will be displayed in a list of values.
Search. Only available when the Template radio button is selected. Highlight an insurance code in the grid and select this button to display a list of all the properties that have this type of insurance associated with it.
All. Only available when the Template radio button is selected. Select to choose all of the insurance types to copy to property.
None. Only available when the Template radio button is selected. Select to unselect all of the insurance types that are marked with an X.
Move Up. Moves the highlighted insurance type up in the sequence. The button becomes inactive when the first record is selected.
Move Down. Moves the highlighted insurance type down in the sequence. The button becomes inactive when the last record is selected.
Copy. Only available when the Template radio button is selected. Select to copy the insurance types that are marked with an X from the template to the property.
New. Select to create a new insurance type.
Edit. Select to edit the highlighted insurance type.
Delete. Select to delete the highlighted insurance type.
Close. Closes out of the insurance type configuration.
Provide the following information in the Insurance Type screen and select the OK button.
Code. Enter the insurance type code to be used. This field is only editable when creating new insurance types.
Description. Enter a description for the insurance type code.
Required for Rental. Select the check box to indicate that this type of insurance, if specified on a rental contract, must be in force during a proposed rental period in order for the unit to be rented.
Display Sequence. Enter the sequence number in which the insurance type will be displayed in a list of values.
Inactive. Select the check box to inactivate the insurance type. When inactivated, the type will not be displayed, unless specified.
