Stored Value Program

The Stored Value Program eliminates coin, currency, vouchers, money orders, and other labor-intensive payment mechanisms, and allows a guest to establish a prepaid account to use for any number of purchases at a property, including shopping, dining, and entertainment.

The Stored Value Program requires an interface license for an IFC_TYPE that is a Stored Value System (SVS), and an active GIFT CARD IFC Group Application Parameter. Depending on the type of interface, the electronic value associated with the account can be accessed using a magnetic strip embedded on a card, or via a wrist band using RFID technology.

A stored value account can be managed from two screens; from the IFC Account screen and from the Stored Value Account Maintenance screen.
