Using a monitor and keyboard connected to the server, you can use the OpenBoot CLI to boot Oracle Solaris. If you have installed the solaris-desktop software, when the OS boots, the monitor displays the graphical Oracle Solaris login screen which enables you to log in to the server and the GNOME desktop. However, it is not possible to see the host console messages on the desktop.
To see host console messages after Oracle Solaris is booted, use one of the following methods:

Terminal device attached to the SER MGT port
